About the NCTA

For 87 years, the North Carolina Trucking Association has been a source for education, advocacy, peer support, and guidance within our industry. This October, the NCTA Safety and Human Resources Council and the Technology and Maintenance Council, will once again combine their efforts and present their Annual Conference.

This year’s event will be held October 9-12th at the beautiful Marriott Renaissance Hotel in Asheville, NC. In addition to a line up featuring industry leaders and world class presenters from the Human Resources, Safety, and Maintenance fields, our event will also feature an Electronic Logging DeviseLab; allowing fleets to take a hands-on approach as they make the critical decisions regarding their Electronic Logging Devices in advance of the 2017 mandate.

As Co-Chairs of this year’s conference, we want to extend a personal invitation to join us at what will be an outstanding event. We look forward to seeing you in Asheville.

Chairman North Carolina

As Chairman for the NCTA, I attended last year’s conference in Myrtle Beach and was impressed with the content of the program as well as the expertise demonstrated by the speakers. However, I believe the greater value of attending this conference is the opportunity to establish a network of professionals that will enhance both the company as well as the individual.

I have attended the NCTA SHRT&M for several years. The content is always relevant to the current industry and provides me the opportunity to stay ahead of the ever changing regulatory environment. I am able to network with others gaining valuable insight on new ideas to incorporate into our programs or even new programs to roll out at my location. I always walk away with more knowledge to strengthen our strategic direction.

The Annual Combined Conference is a great opportunity to meet with the top Maintenance, HR & Safety personnel within the North Carolina Trucking industry. The ability to network and discuss best practices for our industry in one location can’t be beat. You can’t find that anywhere else.
